Oil Spill is the very first piece created in the entire grapevine wall project!
T his piece has significant meaning and marks the beginning of this much anticipated journey.
Created during my trip to Chicago for Climate Reality Leadership training in July of 2013, this is the piece that started it all. As I worked on the illustration, it began to take shape as an environmental piece without my conscious influence. I worked from each line, not knowing the result would tell a story of our reliance on oil and the struggles we have in front of us.
